Yak and Snack is a monthly discussion group for Beth Jacob members in grades 5-9. Here is this months message from our fabulous faciliatator, Anna:

“So, it’s time to get active! Join the hangouts group if you haven’t already, pick some movies if you want one, and get ready for another slightly malfunctioning time machine ride into the Torah!

Discussions will take place on the topic of sadness, in honour of Tisha B’Av, and there will, indeed, be a collection of different halakhic opinions on the topic of “should we commemorate Tisha B’Av and how.”
