Dementia is a common diagnosis that is unfortunately uncommonly spoken about. Join us for services on August 24th for a guest speaker from the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton and Halton, Olivia Mouriopoulos, who will briefly explain:

The difference between dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease
Some statistics regarding Hamilton and Canada
A few ways to mitigate risk factors
How to reach the Alzheimer Society for more support

Pending interest, there will be a longer follow-up program on a weekday evening so our members can learn more about dementia, how to care for yourself or an affected loved one, and community resources.
