Is My Bike Safe to Ride Right Now?
Sunday June 7, 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
Beth Jacob parking lot

What do you need to have done to ensure your bike is good to go for summer rides and fun? We are offering safety checks for your bikes with a bicycle mechanic who has generously donated his time. No charge, however donations to Beth Jacob are greatly appreciated.

Please wear a mask and bring your own water. Unfortunately but for safety reasons, the building will be locked and washrooms unavailable.

Shaul Shecter has been cycling and working in bike shops as a mechanic since the mid ‘60s. He recently attended the Winterbourne Bicycle Institute to update his mechanical skill set. Currently, a retired professor, he volunteers at a charity bicycle shop in the area repairing and refurbishing bicycles.
